Although located just off a main highway, the Newell, which is a main route for lots of semis and their freight, I was pleasantly surprised at how little the noise impacted on our stay, and night's sleep.
We were welcomed warmly and given free range in terms of selecting a site. Granted, travelling in August meant fewer people were holidaying but it is always nice to be allowed a choice in where you set up.
The toilets were absolutely immaculate, and, after a long day on the road, the instant and very hot water provided in the showers was greatly appreciated.
It is a small park without all the frills of larger competitors, who are often members of a chain. The facilities, although older than many we have experienced, were clean and neatly kept. The site placements are a bit random and the grounds probably need some attention but all of this is reflected in the very realistic charge of $25 a night. We would stay there again and, as long as you are not into frills and whistles, so should you!
