Tara Cottage is a lovingly restored 1850's blue stone whaler's cottage. It has the comfort of the 21st century living whilst maintaining the charm and atmosphere of the 19th century. Only a block from the East Beach and a short ten minute walk to the centre of town, the cottage is near the Moyne River and the Botanic Gardens.
The cottage consists of a lounge with an open fire and stone chimney, fully self contained kitchen, modern bathroom with toilet, shower and a large claw bath.
The main bedroom features a queen sized bed and the cottage is styled with period furniture. There is also a private back entrance and a sun room with reverse cycle heating and cooling overlooking the private back garden. All linen is supplied at the property.
