The hotel itself comprises three floors of accommodation totalling some 19 rooms. There is also three floors of bars which include a Bistro and Lounge area on the first floor, a Pool and Function Room with juke box on the second floor as well as a Ground Floor Bar and Bottle Shop.

Great price. Great location. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Great old pub. Showers and toilets down the hallway. Clean and tidy for very old building. Continental free breakfast. 10% discount on food and drinks. Bit noisy with street cleaning one night of our 6 night stay. Well used old pub with accommodation. Don't expect 5 star from 100 year old pub but clean tidy and great staff. Close to train station darling harbour circular quay opera house. Would not hesitate to stay again as we were out exploring every day and used as central base with the odd meal. Full Mark's for location, cleanliness, friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced. The room and linen was clean. The bed was comfortable and the location is good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast room was a delightful bonus to my stay. The only thing I wish they could improve on is bathrooms within the rooms. I would definitely stay again.
