Great accommodation with good facilities in the chalets. Unfortunately when there is a private function, as there was when we visited in November, the restaurant closed to residents. Nearest restaurant was over 5 miles away. This was an inconvenience to our party of 6 but the restaurant up the road did make up for it. We managed to eat in the restaurant at Sebel Pinnacle the second night of our stay albeit away from the main dining area, we were placed in the bar area and had a beautiful meal, our compliments to the chef. I would recommend Sebel Pinnacle as a holiday resort, if you require to eat on the site please do check beforehand that you will be catered for.
The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
