The manager of only one month, a young couple. They did exceptionately well considering the limited resources available to them and also to the remotness and distance from Port Campbell. We were provided a home cooked tasty spicy chicken and rice dish for the evening meal. A basic continental breakfast of bacon, egg and sausage with a choice of 2 types of fruit juice. The menu needs improving as very basic. Chips were listed on the menu for breakfast. No cereal or fresh fruit other than muesli. The rooms were simple but clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. A lovely hot shower in keeping with any other budget hotel. The owners of the property need to inject finances into improving the dining, accommodation and garden areas.
It is a great place to spend your holiday in serene nature. Overlooking a valley, it is slightly off the main road(3km) with a lazy Koala and a hungry horse to give you company. You can spend time at the outdoor seating, drinking stubbies and contemplating life. Manager is very friendly and respects privacy. Though not a great menu but fills you up. Dinner is available only up to 9PM. Best to get food from Port Campbell or take your own ingredients to cook. Hot plate, full size barbecue, microwave oven available along with cutlery, pots and pans. Parking is next to individual cabins. Clean and hygienic ensuite. Overall, had a great time and some lovely memories.
An interesting place to stay!! Perfectly fine, no major issues but the fitout is obviously pretty old. There's no restaurant operating, so if you show up with no food of your own, be prepared to be eating instant noodles. Service was fine, staff are friendly. We didn't eat breakfast at the motel. The whole place could use a spruce up.
