Lauriston Cottage is a comfortable, attractive and centrally located 1930s cottage with two queen size bedrooms, and a charming children's bedroom with a single and trundle bed. Situated in a quiet street only 15 minutes walk from the town centre, the cottage is close to Lydiard Street North, handy to public transport, and has off-street parking if required.
The fully equipped kitchen is close to a large open eating area and French doors leading onto the back deck. With electric blankets and central heating throughout, the cottage also has a cosy sitting / television room with DVD and an optional PS2.
The bathroom has been renovated while retaining the character of the house, with bath / shower, continuous-flow hot water, a separate toilet and a second water closet outside, off the back deck. Washing machine available.
Walking distance to city, train station and Black Hill Lookout, the cottage is only one block from Lydiard Street. There are many interesting and lovely walks in the neighbourhood, and an excellent qualified massage therapist next door.
The kitchen is well set up, with breakfast, tea, good coffee and some cooking supplies provided. All linen supplied.
