The lodge provides a games room with billiards and table tennis tables, a cubby play area for children, spacious couch in front of an open fire place. The lodge also features a large outside deck, guest laundry and large bedrooms with ample storage. Bring your own linen or sheets and towels on hire for a nominal fee upon booking. Mt Hotham General Hotel open all year round for meals. Accommodation to suit singles, couples, families and groups with 36 beds in total, seven well-appointed rooms each with private ensuite, four rooms with six-bed rooms (two single and two doubles) and three rooms with four single beds. Nearby hiking trails include The Alpine Walk, the Razorback from Diamantina Hut to Mt Feathertop and Federation Hut, as well as a range of shorter day walks.
