Great stay the first time I visited but not so good the second time. On first glance the room looked clean but on second inspection there were definitely some areas of improvement. There were also a few things that were broken (including the gate between my courtyard and the one next door so anyone could just walk through) or needed replacing. The hotel is in a great area really close to shops, restaurants and the train station so will likely stay again but will be looking for improvements
Great hotel. Big rooms. Clean. Lack staff (an idea would be to have more than 1 person for the whole hotel...). On arrival a 20min wait for someone to appear to check me in (called another hotel in the chain to see if anyone was actually there) and on checkout another 10 mins.
Quest Hawthorn has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
