Amazing experience, the house is perfectly located walking distance from town. Our time at Barwood house was serenity, a quiet and cosy corner of the world which truly gave us a chance to unwind after a busy week. We really enjoyed our stay, it was more than we wished for in a weekend retreat. We will be back! Hayley and Luke.
This is a delightful cottage in a fantastic location in Beechworth. The presentation, comfort and amenities are perfect for that weekend away or school holiday break. Nothing could make it more comfy or more relaxing. Well done on it's interior makeover and I can't recommend it more highly.
Barwood House Beechworth has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under? Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
